I am at sharon@slsutherland.com, a permanent e-mail address and a virtual professional space. I say on the home page that this site is for people I know who I lose by moving too often, and also for new colleagues. In short, like the establishment pictured at the right, the present virtual saloon does intend to take its place on the street, but still thinks of itself as a quiet, seemly, and, well, almost residential kind of space.
I do also hope to hear from other scholars who work in the areas seen on these pages. Audit and management controls, policy for management of “whole of government,” how these policy shifts affect democratic politics and change institutions – and most of my other concerns – are minority interests. References to your own and other scholarly work on related topics will be most welcome.

I will close by thanking the efficient team who found witty juxtapositions of my amateur photographs to make a black and white academic CV more engaging and visually appealing than I would have thought possible.
